About the club

The club

Founded in 1921, we are a small, friendly bowls club based in Surbiton, Surrey. Offering the opportunity for bowlers of all abilities to play the sport at any level. Men and Ladies most welcome, new or experienced.

We are a lot more informal than perhaps other clubs you may have visited and pride ourselves on enabling all members to play in the team for league matches, if they wish to do so.

Our various internal competitions provide for all levels of players to get involved and have a realistic opportunity of winning.

Our Core Values

Lawn bowls is an excellent way to exercise, have fun and socialise with other players and we ask all members to follow the basic values below:

Respect everyone, members and guests
Encourage and help other players whenever you can
Take care not to abuse the bowling green or equipment
